When reporting a problem, it helps to include your device model, the app version (shown in Settings), and a short description of what you expected versus what happened.
Getting Started
RidgeOps connects to ESP32-S3 based weather stations running the RidgeOps firmware over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). To pair a station:
•
Enable Bluetooth and Location on your phone.
•
Power on your weather station and keep it within range during pairing.
•
Open the app, go to the connection screen, and select your station from the discovered devices.

Troubleshooting Connections
•
If your station doesn't appear, confirm Bluetooth and Location permissions are granted to RidgeOps in your phone's settings.
•
Move closer to the station — BLE range is limited, especially through walls.
•
Power-cycle the station and restart the app if a connection drops and won't recover.
•
Readings collected offline are queued locally and upload automatically once connectivity returns.
Subscriptions & Billing
RidgeOps Pro is a recurring subscription ($4.99/month or $49.99/year). Subscriptions are billed through your app store account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
•
Manage or cancel: on iOS, open Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play → Subscriptions.
•
Restore purchases: use the Restore option on the subscription screen if a paid plan isn't recognized on a new device.
•
Refund requests for app store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
